Put useful knowledge on the record. Individuals and organizations can contribute material people can identify, inspect, and use under declared terms—or help review what is already there. Every submitted index change carries an attributable DCO sign-off.

Open source needs more than code. WALDO needs support, documentation, testing, design, advocacy, leadership, reviewers, and maintainers.
